Mission San Miguel Busy Bees present $9,000.00 check to Friends of Mission San Miguel

If you have ever been to a Mission San Miguel sponsored function, you have seen the Busy Bees of Mission San Miguel working quietly and tirelessly in the background selling tee-shirts and manning the concession stands to raise money for Mission San Miguel Parish Projects.

This year, the eight members of the Busy Bees voted to put aside parish projects for the time being, and concentrate on raising money for the larger effort of the Mission Restoration Program. On Sunday, December 18th, Georgiann Caudle on behalf of the group, presented John Fowler, program manager of the Mission Restoration Project, the efforts of this years work, a check for $9,000.

Fr. Ray Tintle, Pastor of Mission San Miguel said, "This gives the capital campaign a great impetus. It shows that the local parish supports the restoration of the Mission. We thank all the local fund raisers for their continuous support helping to bring in donations to get the restoration job done."

The Busy Bees meet weekly on Wednesdays at Mission San Miguel. Mrs. Caudle invites anyone interested to attend.
